Activities will be taking place all over the city of Philadelphia! Our church building is located at 1682 Wood St. and visitors are welcome to leave their bags there while they participate in city activities. There is also a free underground parking garage at the temple which is across the street from the church building. The Saturday Gala dinner and dance will take place at The National Constitution Center, an iconic and historic venue in the heart of Philadelphia. Free parking is available but limited at this venue.
We will be providing several meals throughout the weekend! These meals are:
Dinner on Friday, November 14th
Saturday morning, a light Breakfast will be provided
A large Dinner on Saturday, November 15th at the Gala
A large Munch N' Mingle late Lunch/early Dinner on Sunday, November 16th
Please be advised that if you will need additional snacks or drinks you should plan to coordinate your own additional food.
The theme this year is Grateful to Gather. President Russell M. Nelson recently said, "May we be ever grateful for the privilege and trust the Lord has bestowed upon us as we gather to the Savior, gather with the Saints, and gather in His service." We hope that as we approach the season of Thanksgiving, we may gather as YSAs and followers of Christ to connect spiritually and socially.
The Gala is a black-tie formal event. For the other weekend activities, please dress accordingly; keep in mind it will be winter so if you plan on attending any outdoor activities dress in layers!
Any attendees coming from outside of Philadelphia are responsible for getting themselves to the city. We recommend working with your bishopric and fellow ward members to car-pool if possible! Once you are in Philadelphia, we recommend getting a SEPTA weekend pass to use the public transportation options available (bus, subway, and trolley).
There is free parking underneath the Philadelphia Temple located at 1739 Vine St, Philadelphia, PA 19103 with access to the garage on 18th street. Parking tickets can be validated at the church building across the street next to the relief society room or with temple security. There will also be a parking lot available at the National Constitution Center for our evening gala on Saturday with limited spots.
